Our volunteers organized an event to raise awareness of Breast Cancer awareness.
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women in our country and in the world and is also the most common cause of death.
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women in Turkey as well as in the whole world and is the most common cause of loss of life. Breast cancer accounts for approximately 25% of all cancers in women. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization (WHO) has determined that breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in 140 out of 180 countries in the world.
Since breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in our country, as it is all over the world, and it is a disease that can be treated if diagnosed early, it is envisaged that all women over the age of 20 receive adequate training on breast self-examination and apply what they have learned continuously, regularly and periodically.
