In late 2019, the pandemic process that started in Wuhan, China and spread all over the world, causing a long-term and multifaceted chaos, deeply affected the social, cultural, sport and economic lives of countries, especially health. The measures taken by countries and the restrictions made within this scope have concerned young people as well as every age group. It has caused young people, who have a critical importance in the future and development of society, to move away from socialization channels (education, sport, social activities, friendship relations, professional experiences, etc.). In this context, the pandemic process had a great impact on the physical and mental health of young people.
Our project will enable young people in disadvantaged conditions to realize their own strengths through sports, not to limit their thoughts and not to lose their belief in change. Sport will empower young people to transform their lives in the face of existing unfavorable living conditions.
It will bring Within the scope of the project, volunteer teams will organize 40 hours of complementary activities in volleyball, rafting and athletics sports to young people who cannot meet with sports during the Covid 19 process. Various activities will be organized by volunteers in these branches. At the same time, sports activities will be organized in the branches of cycling, trekking, which are nature sports, in order to reduce the effects of environmental damage.
In addition to the environmental, cancer and sports education, workshops and activities to be carried out in 5 different countries, creating a strong cooperation and synergy between the partners is the innovative feature of the project. The project will provide an exchange of experiences and a common guideline for cancer, ecologically sustainable sporting events.
