To draw attention to waste, Italian and Jordanian youth exhibited their skills with leftover materials
Within the framework of the project titled 'Sports and Healthy Life' coordinated by Sorgun Youth Association (SORGED) and carried out within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Volunteer Teams in High Priority Areas Program, 12 volunteer young people from Jordan and Italy came to Yozgat. Young people entered the kitchen to draw attention to waste and zero waste in the application area of Yozgat Bozok University Vocational High School Hotel Restaurant and Catering Services Department.
Volunteer young people coming to Yozgat from Italy and Jordan exhibited their skills by making delicious recipes of their cultures within the framework of the "Waste-Free Kitchen Workshop" project in order to prevent waste in the kitchen and raise awareness.
Together with the students of Yozgat Bozok University Vocational School of Higher Vocational School of Cookery, we planned such an event to draw attention to waste and "Waste-Free Cuisine". We organize many activities with our local youth in areas such as sports, culture and health for 40 days. Our young people from Italy and Jordan cooked dishes from their own cultures here. Thus, our young people tasted and got to know the different tastes of Turkey, Italy and Jordan."
